Alpha Chi welcomes three new pledges Kathleen Lindsey, Sharon Roeder and Cindy Magee. March and April meeting hosted the Initiation and Pledge ceremonies for our three new members. Our members have been donating to the Blessing Basket for the past 3 months for the Women's Shelter Mother's Day party that will be catered for them. The Scholarship committee met to determine the winning applicants from Brazoswood and Brazosport High Schools. This year Alpha Chi will award two $1,000. scholarships and two $500. grants to students who will pursue teaching degrees.
Alpha Delta Kappa's Spring meeting will be held on Saturday, April 30th in East Columbia at Bethel Presbyterian Church. The
International Alpha Delta Kappa Convention in Chicago-July 13-16, 2011. Ride Amtrak with your Texas Sisters to Chicago.
